To
reduce gasoline consumption during heavy traffic on the road, the students of
mechanical NIOT Noida did a major change in the bike.
The hybrid bike has a battery installed which
will be charged by gasoline. In heavy Traffic the bike can be
brought into battery mode. Bike with fully charged battery can
run 25 kilometres.
B.Tech
final year students Manish Pandey, Akash Gupta, Akram Raza Ansari, Rupali
Gupta, Gurudev Singh, Gautam Roy and Anuj Tripathi have worked on the project. They
told reporters that in this work, from buying old bikes
up to modify it, the expenditure was around 24 thousand rupees.
Project
guide Pankaj Kumar and HOD SK Arora, was also present in the college campus. Director
General Professor Anil K Pandey and director professor VK Khanna of the College
told that college will try to pursue it by contacting some
companies.
