The work I did in 'Lootera', I did not do until now. Even though i have hit films like 'Dabang ', ' Dabang 2 ', ' Rowdy Rathore ' and ' Son of Sardar ' in my account; but acting as Pakhi has got me so much satisfaction.
I am also impressed with the direction of Vikramaditya. If an actress gets a feel of new life while playing a character, then understand that she is successful in her work.

When you read the script of 'Lootera', did you thought that your role is so important?

Yes, I thought that the role was written just for me. No one else can play it.

Was 'Lootera' easy film for you?

No, this is my most difficult film by far. But I'm glad I've learned a lot while working on it.

Really enjoyed working with Ranbir. He is a funny actor. He believes in method acting and works very hard for his role.

Four students build an eco-friendly car- 120km/litre!

Students of Indira Gandhi Delhi Women’s Technical University have constructed a unique eco-car, which is cheaper and environment friendly and have been designed with the old vehicle parts.

In Shail Eco Marathon (car) design, bamboo, Scootys's engines, bicycles and plastic fibres have been used. This unique Indian car will show its strength in Spung International Circuit in Malaysia next month.

The car will be displayed at the time of the formal opening of the University.

102 cc engine

According to, the student of Department of Mechanical Engineering and team leader Ishita Sehgal , the vehicle frame is made of  bamboo wood, in which 102 cc engine of Honda Activa and the three tyres of bicycles have been installed. Because of eco vehicle and to reduce weight of the vehicle this unique car's body is crafted from fibre reinforce plastic. The roof has been made of polycarbonate sheet with glass.

Top speed is 140 km

To reduce costs old automobile parts from Market have been used. In racing eco car normal petrol would be used, which will give a mileage of 120 km in a litre. Its maximum speed will be 140 kilometres.

Bike will run on battery in heavy traffic

To reduce gasoline consumption during heavy traffic on the road, the students of mechanical NIOT Noida did a major change in the bike.

 The hybrid bike has a battery installed which will be charged by gasoline. In heavy Traffic the bike can be brought into battery mode. Bike with fully charged battery can run 25 kilometres.

B.Tech final year students Manish Pandey, Akash Gupta, Akram Raza Ansari, Rupali Gupta, Gurudev Singh, Gautam Roy and Anuj Tripathi have worked on the project. They told reporters that in this work, from buying old bikes up to modify it, the expenditure was around 24 thousand rupees.

Project guide Pankaj Kumar and HOD SK Arora, was also present in the college campus. Director General Professor Anil K Pandey and director professor VK Khanna of the College told that college will try to pursue it by contacting some companies.

Dummy Model of Flying Bicycle unveiled

You must have rode bicycle. But ever you thought that your bicycle could fly in the air.

Yes, here we are talking about a similar bicycle which can fly in the air like a plane.

In Paraguay, the capital of the Czech Republic, three companies together have introduced a dummy model of a similar bicycle in the public.

The car flew successfully with a remote. And after about five minutes it was landed safely. People were aghast seeing this.

This battery-powered bicycle weighs 95 kg. 6 Propellers (fan) are engaged in bicycle which helps it to fly. From them two propeller are engaged in the front, two rear and one in a side.

Currently the battery which is installed in this bicycle, with that it can stay in the air for just for 5minutes. Therefore, the capacity of the bicycle will be raised in the coming years.

He said, "The younger generation is now so indulged in social networking sites that at times instead of taking it as a thought they accepts these activities as a fact of life, which can be further transformed into mental illness.”

Youth on target- Dr. Gupta believes that the younger generation spends the most time on social networking sites and at this age it is increasingly affected by the activities. In such to be too much active on social networking sites make them far from reality. As a result of which, they may have to face mental problems.

Set your own limits- Usually in such cases the advice of psychiatrists is that at least for some time distance should be maintained from the social networking site and gradually time must be set to use it.

According to Dr Gupta, in such problems we emphasize on the role of the family with medications and counselling. If a person uses his time to interact with family and friends, he will definitely spend less time on networking website.

Follow these simple steps so that social networking sites does not become an addiction to you-

Girl plotted her own rape on Facebook to get her boyfriend back

You must have heard that a person in love can neither hear nor see anything; but you will be shocked to hear the story of this Lady. This woman, to get her boyfriend back and to gain sympathy, made conspiracy of her own rape. To get back her boyfriend, Linse Attrij named this lady has written on Facebook that the two men entered her house forcibly.

They raped her and hit her too. To convince her boyfriend she herself gave many punches and clicked her photos and put them on the Facebook.

To make false cases of rapes to be true she searched the Internet for three days to find two people whose profiles she could give it to the police. It so happened, she saw two men Facebook profiles and falsely accused them. However, later forensic tests and medical tests of these two young men were done to find out the truth.

When the police found no evidence against them the case was cancelled. Later found out that it was all fraud. The woman was not sent to prison but was sentenced to 200 hours' community service.

When Attrij ex-boyfriend was asked about this matter he said that he knew nothing but he feel bad for those two men who were implicated unnecessarily.

By the efforts of Ankur, here today a pomegranate orchard is ready to earn gold. Instead of running after a job after completing MBA, Ankur decided to gardening near the home.

Ankur himself made the barren land with hoe and cultivated a pomegranate orchard on the mountain. His hard work has paid now. In the orchard harvest has come. MBA degree holder Ankur Thakur has set an example for the entire region by raising an orchard on waste land.

By looking at the dry mountain soil everyone can have an idea how hard is was. Today each and every blow of hoe is ready to pay Ankur's hard work in the form of pomegranate fruit.

According to Ankur Thakur he has maintained half an acre orchard. Even in drought conditions pomegranate gave a bumper crop.

In this fierce heat where people are longing for a drop of water, farmer Ankur Thakur has raised the crop of pomegranate by carrying water on his back.

 Ankur said he carries water from half a kilometer everyday. Not only pomegranate but Plum and lechee harvest is also well ready.

68-year-old retired Teacher of Himachal Pradesh did an amazing job

It is said that there is no age of learning. One can study at any age; however rarely do it. A 68-year-old retired teacher of Kangra district, Himachal Pradesh, has characterized this commitment to the education. After being associated with teaching for 47 years he passed 12th examination this year.

Birbal Sandhu, resident of the Gram Panchayat Rodi-Kodi of Dehra Subdivision had passed the matriculation examination in 1964.After doing JBT course in 1966; he made teaching as his career. After having served 47 years in the Education Department, Sandhu retired from the post of central head teacher on June 30, 2003, has a different spirit towards education.

When asked, how a desire arose in his mind to study after ten years of retirement, Birbal said that he always regret less education. Just to fulfil his desire he decided to study further.

Birbal Sandhu said that even at this age he is not going to get any benefit from that education. Despite this, he preserve the dream to study till graduate.
